I was born in 1982, Vietnam. I have been drawing all of my life -- beautiful things like clothes, shoes and girls. To be beautiful for me was not that easy. If you have a lot of problems with your body, your mind, or your heart it is hard to say that you are beautiful. Do you agree? Maybe you are different than me.
I also thought about perfect things a lot when I was a child. It depends upon your circumstances, but if you were born in a good family, with a good life, I think you would dream about being a princess, or maybe about being a king or something higher than that. But for me I just liked to think about what made everybody look beautiful, and what made them different. It's really difficult to pretend you live in other circumstances than you have, but if you don't imagine what you could be, you cannot get what you want. I was trying, in my drawing, to make myself better, to imagine being beautiful and having wonderful things. I drew a lot of sketches of girls with clothes, with high shoes, with beautiful accessories.
